Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Acquire new Modern Trade accounts through prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Develop commercial proposals including pricing, listing terms, payment terms, and partnership packages.
  • Drive sales growth through effective negotiation, promotional planning, and assortment.
  • Arrange and negotiate a business plan that involves trading terms for each key account in time.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply, Ops and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • To monitor, analyze and prepare a report of sales achievement in modern trade channels on a regular basis.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferably > 5 years of successful track record in business development within the FMCG industry, particularly in the Modern Trade channel.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in data interpretation and market analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
