About the Role

Aptella is looking for a dynamic sales leader to drive Aptellas Mining sales strategy in collaboration with regional teams, delivering on sales, operational, and financial objectives. This role, based in Jakarta plays a pivotal role in ensuring our region remains a major player in the market, while upholding high standards of employee satisfaction and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets across all core and emerging site solutions and mining products within the region, with a particular focus on the Indonesian market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for sales growth across mining product lines in the Indonesian market
  • Build and maintain strong, valued customer relationships
  • Prepare, update, and implement annual marketing plans, including promotions, pricing, hire policies, and distribution strategies
  • Lead successful product launches and targeted sales/marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Aptella Marketing Manager, SEA sales managers, and CET Team
  • Set and achieve annual sales targets and planned profitability goals
  • Deliver ongoing sales training on products, processes, and productivity improvements
  • Analyse and recommend improvements to sales processes and procedures
  • Monitor customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts to support stock replenishment and financial planning
  • Keep selling expenses within budgeted parameters
  • Liaise with the accounting team to support customer credit management and collections

About You

  • Proven ability to negotiate proactively within guidelines and authority limits
  • Expert knowledge of mining-related products including machine control, machine guidance, fleet management, safety, and geo-positioning
  • In-depth understanding of competing products and market players
  • Results-focused with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong commitment to customer service excellence
  • Team-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive, outgoing personality
  • Goal-driven, performance-focused, and outcome-oriented
