Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
- Identify potential clients and industry opportunities through research and networking including participation in key sustainability events
- Understand client needs, problems and develop tailor-made sustainability advisory solution
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospect to conversion
- Lead proposal development and client presentations
- Serve as primary contact for high-level client management
Qualifications
- Indonesian passport
- Masters or Bachelor&aposs degree in business, sustainable development, agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development for public and private sector, sales, or account management, especially related to agriculture, climate, and rural development.
- Knowledge of sustainability issues.
- Direct experience with carbon markets, blended finance models, sustainable commodity certification (e.g., RSPO, FSC), or landscape-level initiatives is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Willing to be based in Jakarta with some visits to ReClimaTechs Bali office.
