Role Overview
As a Business Development Consultant, you will spearhead business development initiatives across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and regional markets, with a strong focus on recruitment and workforce placement solutions. This role requires a consultative sales mindset, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead business development initiatives across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and regional markets, focusing on recruitment, manpower outsourcing, and workforce placement solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multinational corporations, SMEs, and government-linked companies to support permanent and contract hiring needs.
- Develop, present, and negotiate service agreements, ensuring smooth client onboarding and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with internal recruitment and operations teams to align candidate sourcing strategies with client expectations and project timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, monitor hiring trends, and expand service offerings into new industries and sectors.
- Identify and manage key accounts while achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets through consultative selling and strategic relationship management.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and business forums to strengthen brand presence and generate leads.
- Expand and diversify the client portfolio through new partnerships and strategic accounts
Strengthen cross-border recruitment pipelines and regional client coverage.
- Contribute to the streamlining of client engagement processes, improving service turnaround time and client satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market and industry research to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and high-potential clients.
- Analyze market data and competitor activities to develop effective go-to-market and sales strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term retention.
- Establish and nurture new relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Proactively identify and target potential clients through cold outreach, networking, industry events, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, service scope, and contracts to secure new business opportunities and maximize profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Recruitment Consulting.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within recruitment, HR services, or professional services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, regional, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
