Role Description

This is an on-site, contract role based in Palu for a Banquet Manager at Swiss-Belhotel Silae Palu. The Banquet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of banquet events to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing banquet staff, coordinating with clients to meet event specifications, ensuring food and beverage service excellence, and maintaining operational standards. The role also involves supervising budgets and resources effectively while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Customer Service and a proven ability to enhance Customer Satisfaction
  • Excellent Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, guests, and team members
  • Knowledge and experience in Food & Beverage operations and event planning
  • Proficiency in Hiring, training, and managing staff for successful event execution
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Previous experience in hospitality or event management is highly advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a relevant field is preferred
