Key responsibilities:
- Executing audit engagements for clients across various industries
- Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations and KPMG audit methodologies.
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members to provide coaching and feedback.
- Identifying audit issues, assessing their impact, and proposing solutions.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in external audit, preferably from a Big Four or similar public accounting firm.
- Experience handling financial services clients (e.g., banking, insurance, multi-finance) is a plus.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is a significant plus.
- Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles, with awareness of general IT controls.
- A strong understanding of IFRS and/or PSAK.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken), teamwork and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Completed or in-progress professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) are a plus.
