We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Architect / Project Coordinator to join one of our portfolio companies. This role plays a critical part in bridging design and execution, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all project phases, from concept design through to construction delivery.
- Develop, review, and refine architectural drawings, technical details, and working documents.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ), cost estimates, and project schedules to support effective planning and budgeting.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to align design intent with technical and construction requirements.
- Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, while coordinating workflow across teams.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quality, progress, and adherence to specifications.
- Prepare clear project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Architecture (Masters degree preferred).
- 35 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.
- Strong technical knowledge of architectural details, engineering principles, and construction processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, and other relevant design software (Revit, Lumion, or similar is an advantage).
- Demonstrated ability to prepare BoQ, RAB, and detailed project schedules.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating across diverse teams.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
