Job Description

Summary :

The Procurement Analyst is a vital role in ensuring the company acquires goods, services, and materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for researching potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process from start to finish. This is a key position in the supply chain management process, and you will work closely with various departments across the organization.

Responsibilities :

  1. Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for supplier consolidation
  2. Research and identify qualified potential suppliers for various goods and services
  3. Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to solicit bids from vendors.
  4. Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and past performance.
  5. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible deal for the company.
  6. Manage the procurement process, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
  7. Maintain and update supplier databases and information.
  8. Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contract terms.
  9. Prepare reports on procurement activities and cost savings achieved.
  10. Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry best practices in procurement.
  11. May participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  12. Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs.

Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field (preferred)
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Experience with procurement software (SAP B1/ERP) a plus.
  7. Knowledge of best practices in procurement is preferred.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
