Summary :
The Procurement Analyst is a vital role in ensuring the company acquires goods, services, and materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for researching potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process from start to finish. This is a key position in the supply chain management process, and you will work closely with various departments across the organization.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for supplier consolidation
- Research and identify qualified potential suppliers for various goods and services
- Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to solicit bids from vendors.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and past performance.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible deal for the company.
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and information.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contract terms.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and cost savings achieved.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry best practices in procurement.
- May participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with procurement software (SAP B1/ERP) a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices in procurement is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
