The customer is a logistics and supply chain specialist, providing warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to businesses across multiple industries focused on FMCG products. By leveraging advanced technology, they optimize inventory and distribution processes, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable solutions for B2B and retail partners. Their office location is near Canggu, Bali.

Job Summary:

The AI & Automation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and developing the technology systems within the company, with a strong focus on leveraging AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency. This role will manage current and future technology processes, design and implement automation workflows, and continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity across the business. The AI & Automation Engineer will play a key role in driving innovation within a fast-paced FMCG distribution environment. This position is available for a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize existing technology systems and processes to improve business operations.
• Design, develop, and implement automation workflows to streamline tasks across logistics, order management, and other operational areas.
• Leverage AI tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Maintain and enhance the companys automation infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Research and adopt new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of automation and AI capabilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automation engineering or AI-related roles, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong technical expertise in automation tools and platforms (e.g., RPA tools, Zapier, N8N, Make.com, or custom automation frameworks).
• Solid programming skills-Python, JavaScript, or similar languages commonly used for automation and AI development
• Competence in working with various business tools and integrations, including Outlook, Google Drive, Slack, Xero, Shopify, Salesforce, and Airwallex.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries or frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and deploying AI integration in production pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience deploying scalable automation in cloud-native environments.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.

For this position, the clients budget is between 20.000.000 - 25.000.000 /month
