Job Description
As an Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and handling tax audits efficiently.
- Supervising and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
- Collaborating with internal departments to support financial decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
- Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders to address financial queries.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Accounting Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
