Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, preferably within the insurance industry, and solid knowledge of insurance-related accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience (pure accounting role; finance-only experience will not be considered).
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of PSAK 117 and other insurance-related accounting standards.
  • Proficient in:
  • Journal entries
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Financial statements
  • Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Chart of accounts
  • Period-end closing
  • Account reconciliation
  • Experience supporting and/or coordinating internal and external audit processes, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Accurate, SAP, Xero, Jurnal.id, MYOB, Oracle, or similar systems.

Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with insurance systems (CARE Tech, FAAST, APPS, Brokap) is a strong advantage.
