We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, preferably within the insurance industry, and solid knowledge of insurance-related accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience (pure accounting role; finance-only experience will not be considered).
- Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of PSAK 117 and other insurance-related accounting standards.
- Proficient in:
- Journal entries
- General Ledger (GL)
- Financial statements
- Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Reconciliation and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of:
- Chart of accounts
- Period-end closing
- Account reconciliation
- Experience supporting and/or coordinating internal and external audit processes, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Accurate, SAP, Xero, Jurnal.id, MYOB, Oracle, or similar systems.
Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with insurance systems (CARE Tech, FAAST, APPS, Brokap) is a strong advantage.
