Organica is currently looking to fill an Accountant position, reporting to the Sr. Manager Finance & Accounting.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Posting of incoming invoices and matching of them to approved POs, if any, managing any necessary correction of the invoices or obtaining any additional information needed (project codes, cost center codes, tax treatment, etc.);
- Initiate vendor and other payments from the Company;
- Issue tax invoices, manage accounting and tax matters with customers
- Maintain regular communication with external accounting and tax service provider, provide all monthly reporting data to them, check and approve the monthly and annual tax calculations prepared by the external service provider (WHT, VAT, CIT, etc.);
- Prepare and submit forms, documents to Indonesian tax authority and manage the contact keeping with any local Indonesian authorities, banks, and manage any statutory accounting and tax compliance tasks which are not in the external advisors scope (if any);
- Record bank transactions inERP system;
- Make monthly capitalization, calculate and book depreciation and any other transactions relating to fixed assets, maintain fixed asset subledger;
- Monthly reconciliation of YTD OPEX GL account balances and based on the accrual principal calculate the amount of monthly accruals/prepayments and post the necessary GL entries;
- Verification and Finance approval of employees expense reports, including but not limited to the application forms, invoices, etc., posting of expense reports and reconciliation with advance payments;
- Other tasks assigned by superior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting or business administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years AP or general accounting experience (preferably IFRS);
- Comfortable working in and adapting to rapidly expanding organization;
- Advanced user skills in MS Office (especially with Excel);
- Knowledge and experience in general accounting procedures in an ERP system, especially in AP processing
- Experience working in a diverse global environment w/ multiple time zones
- Fluency in English
