Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using modern web technologies
- Create responsive, user-friendly websites from design mockups
- Customize and extend WordPress functionality through custom themes and plugins
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, accessibility, and mobile devices
- Manage website hosting environments and troubleshoot technical issues
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends
Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise
- 3+ years of professional web development experience. Wordpress desired.
- Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- 3+ years of WordPress expertise: Custom theme development, plugin customization, hooks/filters
- PHP development: Object-oriented programming and WordPress customization
- Database management: MySQL query optimization and database design
- Version control: Git workflow and collaborative development
- Responsive design: Cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first approach
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js or Angular.js)
- Azure cloud platform: Experience with Azure App Services and Apache server configuration
- API integration and RESTful web services
- Performance optimization and caching strategies
Design & SEO Knowledge
- Design collaboration tools: Figma, Framer, Zeplin, or similar
- SEO fundamentals: On-page and technical SEO implementation
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility standards

- Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
