Job Description

Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in managing daily warehouse and logistics operations for retail furniture products, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper handling of bulky items, efficient order fulfillment, and timely distribution to stores and customers.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist in supervising daily warehouse operations for furniture products, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and delivery preparation
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy, availability, and optimal space utilization for large and bulky items
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of furniture to prevent damage and maintain product quality
  • Support planning and optimization of warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency and improve material flow
  • Coordinate order fulfillment for retail stores and direct-to-customer deliveries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time shipment
  • Assist in managing transportation and delivery activities, including route planning, carrier coordination, and delivery scheduling
  • Implement quality control and damage prevention procedures for inbound and outbound furniture products
  • Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and adherence to safety procedures
  • Ensure smooth coordination and communication with related departments such as Retail Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
  • Prepare operational and inventory reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse and logistics operations

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in retail furniture, home furnishing, or bulky goods industry
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse layout management, and furniture handling processes
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiar with WMS and basic logistics reporting
