Job Description

Adecco Indonesia is currently representing a well-established and fast-growing company within the Digital Banking sector in building a next-generation financial ecosystem for Indonesia's SME and MSME segment.

As VP of MSME Digital Banking & Relationship Growth, you will play a critical leadership role in scaling one of the bank's most strategic digital initiatives. You will be responsible for driving account growth, funding inflow, product adoption, and long-term engagement, while working closely with Product, Technology, and Business teams to continuously enhance the platform. This role requires a strong blend of product understanding and commercial acumen someone who deeply understands how digital products translate into real business value

Job Responsibilities

Account & Business Growth

  • Own and execute the end-to-end account development strategy, focusing on increasing the number of active SME & MSME accounts and funding inflows.
  • Drive sustainable growth across acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention for a platform currently serving hundreds of thousands of users.
  • Translate business targets into scalable growth initiatives aligned with the bank's digital business roadmap.

Product & Business Alignment

  • Act as a strategic bridge between Product and Business, ensuring product enhancements directly support commercial and user growth objectives.
  • Partner with Product and PMO teams to define, prioritize, and deliver continuous product improvements across onboarding, features, and user experience.
  • Ensure strong adoption of key features, including flexible funding solutions.

Product-Led Growth & PMO Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Data teams to optimize user journeys, funnels, and growth loops.
  • Support structured execution through Product Development and PMO frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.

Funding & Monetization Strategy

  • Develop strategies to grow funding inflows through digital channels while maintaining flexibility and liquidity features for users.
  • Ensure monetization and funding strategies remain aligned with customer needs and regulatory standards.

Partnership & Ecosystem Development

  • Build and scale partnerships with platforms, marketplaces, and SME communities to accelerate account acquisition and usage.
  • Strengthen the bank's presence within the SME ecosystem as a trusted digital financial partner.

Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Own growth performance tracking, including account numbers, funding growth, activation rates, and feature adoption.
  • Leverage data, insights, and experimentation to continuously refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Account Development team.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across Business, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Technology functions.

Job Requirements

  • 812 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, funding platforms, securities, or MSME-focused digital products.
  • Strong background in account development, digital growth, or business development, with clear ownership of growth metrics.
  • Proven ability to understand product deeply while driving business outcomes able to speak both product and commercial language fluently.
  • Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and PMO teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions and measure performance.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and outcome-driven; thrives in fast-moving digital or startup-style environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
