Job Description

The Vice President (or Assoc. Vice President) - Sales at ADL is entrusted with the pivotal responsibility of leading and expanding the company&aposs sales within a specific region and/or customer account(s). This role demands a strategic approach to managing both geographic and group sales operations, ensuring they are in harmony with ADL&aposs overall sales strategies and revenue objectives. The VP plays a crucial role in autonomously developing regional sales strategies, making key decisions on sales initiatives and resource allocation, negotiating, and finalizing contracts, and restructuring the sales team as needed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Responsible for the formulation and execution of comprehensive sales strategies in the specific region.
  2. Regional Sales Management: Accountable for managing and driving the sales operations within the specific region, including achieving specific sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  3. Client Relationship and Market Expansion: Charged with cultivating key relationships with clients and partners in the specific region, and accountable for expanding ADL&aposs market presence and customer base in these territories.
  4. Market Analysis and Adaptation: Tasked with closely monitoring and analyzing market trends in the specific region.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration: Responsible for coordinating with various internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to sales and product strategies in the specific region.

NEED TO KNOW AND NEED TO BE:

Education and Experience

  • Advanced Degree: Master&aposs degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 15 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, with a proven track record in strategic sales planning and execution, preferably in the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) industry within the Asia-Pacific region.

Knowledge

  • Regional Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific market dynamics, including cultural nuances, market trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Sales and Business Development Acumen: Extensive knowledge of sales strategies, business development techniques, and customer relationship management.

Skills

  • Strategic Planning and Leadership: Exceptional skills in strategic planning, leadership, and team management.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability in effective communication, relationship building, and high-level negotiations.
