As a Freelance Short-Form Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming long-form video content (podcasts, interviews, panels, explainers, webinars, and recordings) into 2550 high-quality short videos per month.

This is an on-demand freelance role with flexible hours, but it requires:

• A maximum 24-hour response time to new requests
• The ability to work in sync with the Jakarta (GMT+7) timezone

You should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific editing styles, and be comfortable adding captions, light motion graphics, and basic branding elements.

• Edit long-form video content into engaging short clips (3090 seconds).
• Identify compelling moments, hooks, soundbites, and insights that perform well on social platforms.
• Produce 2550 short videos per month with consistent quality and pacing.
• Adapt edits for different platforms (aspect ratios, lengths, safe zones).

• Add clean, readable captions/subtitles (English).
• Apply light motion graphics, zooms, cuts, emojis (where appropriate), and emphasis text.
• Insert basic brand elements such as logos, lower thirds, or brand colors when required.

• Accept and acknowledge new tasks within 24 hours.
• Deliver edits on short, clearly defined timelines.
• Manage multiple clips from the same source video efficiently.

• Work closely with content, marketing, and project managers.
• Follow clear briefs while also proactively suggesting strong clip moments.
• Implement revisions quickly based on feedback.

• Proven experience editing short-form social media videos.
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Solid understanding of short-form content trends and pacing.
• Ability to consistently deliver 2550 shorts per month.
• Must respond to new requests within 24 hours maximum.
• Comfortable working in or closely aligned with Jakarta timezone (GMT+7).
• Experience with Web3, crypto, AI, gaming, or tech content is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, storytelling, and visual clarity.
• Clear communication and ability to handle feedback efficiently.
