Job Overview
We're seeking a talented and creativeVideo Editorto join one of our client's team a growing creative marketing agency specializing in SEO, Email Marketing, and Branding. This role focuses on editing engaging and high-quality video content for YouTube and social media platforms, helping the team bring ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling.
You'll work directly with the Founder to edit both long-form YouTube videos and short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a strong sense of narrative flow, pacing, and aesthetic detail and is passionate about creating scroll-stopping content that stands out.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.
- Craft visually appealing narratives that align with brand tone and messaging.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, music, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
- Repurpose long-form videos into short, engaging clips optimized for social media.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder to understand project goals, creative direction, and feedback.
- Manage editing timelines and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Organize and maintain all video project files and assets systematically.
- Suggest creative ideas and improvements to boost performance and engagement.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience as a video editor, ideally focused on YouTube or social media content.
- Proficiency withAdobe Premiere Pro,After Effects, or equivalent tools.
- Strong storytelling and visual composition skills with an eye for design and flow.
- Good understanding of pacing, transitions, and audio synchronization.
- English proficiency (spoken and written) voice recording required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple creative projects.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing style and creativity.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
- Understanding of color grading, sound mixing, and compression for online use.
