We're looking for a Video Content Editor with a strong interest in AI-powered creative tools to produce engaging short-form and digital video content. You'll focus on transforming raw footage, concepts, and scripts into compelling, high-performing videos while leveraging modern AI technologies to improve speed, quality, and creative output.
This role is ideal for someone who understands visual storytelling, pacing, hooks, and platform-specific formats, and is excited to explore how AI can enhance video production workflows for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media and digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Transform raw footage, briefs, or scripts into engaging, performance-driven videos.
- Apply strong storytelling, pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and visual elements.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to accelerate editing, enhance visuals, generate variations, or assist in ideation and production.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and creative teams to ensure videos align with brand voice and campaign goals.
- Adapt video formats based on platform trends, best practices, and audience behavior.
- Ensure timely delivery of video assets according to the content calendar.
- Revise and optimize videos based on feedback, performance data, and insights.
- Maintain organized project files and efficient editing workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Video Editor, Content Editor, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI-powered creative tools, such as AI video generation or enhancement tools (e.g. Sora AI, Google Veo, Runway, Pika, etc. and AI-assisted editing, captioning, upscaling, or motion tools.
- Basic AI prompting skills to generate or refine video concepts, visuals, or short-form content.
- Solid understanding of short-form video trends, hooks, pacing, and audience behavior.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, rhythm, and timing.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Basic graphic or motion design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Figma) are a plus.
- Experience working with consumer brands, e-commerce, or startups is a bonus.
- Comfortable working in English (spoken & written).
Nice to Have
- Experience editing videos for paid ads or performance marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with analytics tools or performance metrics to improve video effectiveness.
- Experience directing or guiding on-camera talent.
