About the Role

A Mobility UX Writer will spend their time solving friction for users across Indonesia and Singapore. Their scope will cover Gojek's platform services like the subscriptions, Gojek PLUS, and Gojek promos.

What you will do

    • Lead the content designing process in assigned streams involving stakeholders from Designers, Researchers, Illustrators, Product Managers, Business, Marketing, Legal, and others, following the pre-defined processes, but also able to identify areas for improvement during the processes. Supervision is available.
    • Effectively deliver features and improvements per agreed mass timelines with high-quality output.
    • Crack the formula on how Gojek can better communicate and present its products to different segments of users.
    • Engage in stimulating discussions and feedback loops with constant changes.
    • Closely and intensely collaborate and communicate with stakeholders in given contexts such as: gathering context, understanding the unknowns, aligning thoughts to reach an agreement, giving and receiving feedback, and presenting the content decision among others.

What you will need

    • 2-3 years of experience as a UX Writer. Having a background as a copywriter is appreciated.
    • Proficient in English and Indonesian grammar. Have a knack for languages and their role in society, daily conversation, device-mediated communication, and others.
    • Excellent understanding of writing fundamentals, such as structured thinking, critical and creative thinking, context gathering, research, problem-solving, seeking feedback, and prioritization.
    • Solid design thinking and fearlessness in getting your hands dirty to find out root causes, or to validate your design, through independent qualitative and quantitative research.
    • Strong self-driven purpose of work and possesses a high initiative in doing what's right and not what's easy.
    • Insatiable curiosity to understand your customers and how to make their lives better, paired with a rich understanding of Indonesians and how they go about their daily lives.
    • Remarkable communication, collaboration with stakeholders, and advocating for your work.
    • High adaptability. Confident and independent self-management, project management, and leadership.
