We are looking for an enthusiastic design intern to support our product and development teams with UI design tasks. You&aposll work within our existing design system to help create and iterate on interfaces for our mobile app and web platform. This is a learning-focused role perfect for someone starting their design career.
Position Details:
- 3-month full-time internship (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM WIB)
- On-site at Jakarta Barat office
- Paid monthly stipend
- Able to start immediately
Responsibilities:
- Use our existing design system to create UI screens based on detailed briefs from the product team
- Make design iterations and adjustments based on feedback
- Help maintain visual consistency by following our design guidelines
- Identify opportunities to improve and expand our design system
- Help document and organize design system components
- Create simple mockups and screens for new features under guidance
- Organize and prepare design files for developer handoff
- Participate in product discussions and learn about design decisions
- Document design updates and changes
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in design, multimedia, or related field (or self-taught with portfolio)
- Portfolio showing UI design work and visual design skills (academic or personal projects welcome)
- Familiarity with Figma and ability to create clean, organized designs
- Good eye for visual design - understanding of typography, color, spacing, and composition
- Interest in designing for both mobile and web platforms
- Ability to work within an existing design system and follow guidelines
- Understanding of basic UI/UX principles and design best practices
- Eager to learn, receive feedback, and improve skills
- Good communication skills and comfortable collaborating with non-designers
- Experience as a Kick Avenue user or interest in streetwear/sneakers is a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
- Available for full 3-month commitment
