Role Description

This is a freelance role for a Mathematics Tutor. The tutor will provide one-on-one or group instruction to students of various levels, create educational materials, and assist students in understanding mathematical concepts. The role also involves evaluating progress, preparing lesson plans, and customizing teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Additionally, the tutor will communicate regularly with parents or guardians to report on student performance when applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics concepts, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
• Proficiency in developing engaging lesson plans and educational materials
• Exceptional teaching, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively tutor students remotely using digital platforms and tools
• A passion for education and helping students succeed
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent teaching experience)
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
• Have your own vehicle and willing to teach in Cihampelas, Bandung, every Tuesday 16.00-17.30.
