About the Role

A Treasury Staff is a key member of the finance team responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting budgeting processes, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and external regulations. The role focuses on recording, monitoring, and reporting financial data to support informed decision-making within the organization. To ensure the smooth execution of financial operations by processing payments, maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting the financial health and accountability of the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing petty cash and daily bank reconciliations.
  • Processing and recording invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepared fund transfers and payments transactions.
  • Prepared bank positions-balances & banking relationship.
  • Coordinating with other departments for financial data and documentation.
  • Supporting monthly financial closing related to cash, debt & receivable/sales.
  • Assisting with audits (internal and external)
  • Financial systems are implemented to provide timely, accurate and relevant information for end users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, banking or accounting.
  • Experience in managing cash flow, banking operations, and financial reporting.
  • Detail-Oriented with integrity & Trustworthiness.
  • Analytical Thinking and highly responsible accountable.
