In this role, you will be a crucial part of our mission to ensure the safety, reliability, and excellence of our products from initial design to mass production. You will have a direct impact on our quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics by analyzing and improving key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and Validate: Conduct comprehensive cell and battery testing in accordance with global standards such as UL2054, UL60950, and IEC62133.
- Troubleshoot and Innovate: Analyze and identify root causes for issues within PCM (Protection Circuit Module) & BMS (Battery Management System), then develop and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Manage the installation and maintenance of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) systems to ensure a safe production environment.
- Oversee Production Quality: Monitor production processes to ensure they consistently meet quality and safety standards.
- Develop and Optimize Processes: Create process flows and define parameters for production systems to ensure efficiency and quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Core Electronics Knowledge: You must be highly proficient in low-current electronics, semiconductor theory, electronic circuit design, and analog circuits. This is essential for diagnosing issues within the Battery Management System (BMS) and protection circuits.
- Lithium-ion Battery Expertise: A deep understanding of lithium-ion cell chemistry, battery pack assembly, and safety standards is a significant advantage.
- Data Analysis: You should be skilled in statistical analysis and using tools to interpret data from metrics like FPY and DPPM.
- Problem-Solving: You will be a lead investigator, using methods like Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to solve complex technical issues.
