Position Overview:This position will be responsible for supporting the ship operational area and will report directly to Ship Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Ship Manager in purchasing spare parts, services, and consumables for ships.
- Assist Ship Manager liaise with Workshop to ensure all ship general maintenance, engine repair / overhaul is carry out timely.
- Responsible for the validity of ship documents as well as controlling the documents, including ship certificates.
- Monitors all the Monthly Reports from the ship.
- Administration & correspondence to and from vessels.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or related major.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
- Posses solid experience in the container shipping company (especially for the technical/engineering field).
- Willing to carry out not only operational tasks but also administrative tasks.
- Proficient in English.
- Willing to be placed at Head Office, Surabaya.
