Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Naval Engineering, Nautical, or other related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in draught survey, cargo inspection, container stuffing/vanning, shipment supervision, or other related field operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping, vessels, cargo inspection, and Dangerous Goods handling in accordance with the IMDG Code.
• Familiar with ISO 17020 and ISO 9001; AISI and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, communicative, able to work independently in fast-paced environments, and fluent in English.
Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee field operations related to dangerous goods handling, cargo inspection, draught survey, container stuffing/vanning, and shipment activities.
• Ensure all field activities are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements, company procedures, and applicable operational and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to resolve issues related to cargo condition, packing practices, and shipment readiness.
• Review and verify field findings, inspection results, and operational records, and escalate any non-conformities or risks when necessary.
• Coordinate with Operations, Clients, Shipping Lines, and other relevant parties, while representing the company during field attendance, audits, and third-party inspections.
