Role Description The Tax Staff role at House of Om is a full-time, on-site position based in Bali, Indonesia. This role is responsible for supporting tax compliance and planning activities, including preparing tax returns, maintaining accurate tax records, and assisting with tax filings for local and international operations. The Tax Staff will analyze financial data to ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations, identify potential tax efficiencies, and support internal and external audits as needed. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the finance team, monitoring changes in tax legislation affecting the organization, preparing documentation for authorities, and providing clear tax-related guidance to management. The role also involves contributing to process improvements and helping maintain a high standard of accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in all tax-related work.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of Tax, Tax Planning, and Tax Preparation for both local and cross-border operations.
- Strong understanding of Tax Law and its practical application in organizational and transactional contexts.
- Solid Finance skills, including financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation related to tax matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; professional tax or accounting certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in a tax or accounting role, preferably within an international or multi-entity organization.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Proficient in relevant accounting and tax software, with strong Excel and data management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills relevant to Indonesia are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and alignment with House of Om's values of authenticity, growth, and community.
