Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage tax strategies to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including corporate income taxes, sales taxes, and other related filings.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective tax planning.
- Provide guidance and support for tax audits and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and tax policies to minimize risk and optimize tax efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in tax management or a related role, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations., 3+ years in managerial level.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven track record of successful tax planning and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
