Description
As a Tax Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and related filings.
- Provide expert tax advisory services, including cross-border tax matters, transfer pricing, and international tax planning.
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions and minimize risks.
- Represent clients during tax audits, investigations, objections, appeals, and litigation processes.
- Manage tax disputes and resolution processes, including negotiation with tax authorities.
- Act as primary liaison for international clients, delivering tailored solutions aligned with local regulations and global best practices.
- Build strong client relationships and provide proactive updates on regulatory changes.
- Mentor junior consultants and support professional development within the tax team.
- Collaborate with other service lines (legal, accounting, BPO) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Monitor regulatory developments, advise clients on potential impacts, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives, seminars, and client workshops.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in tax consulting or corporate tax.
- Tax Brevet A & B certification required; Brevet C (Court License) strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in handling tax audits, disputes, and litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
