Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Assistant Manager at PT. Toppan Plasindo Lestari in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Tax Assistant Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing end-to-end tax compliance and ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting
- Reviewing and finalizing monthly and annual tax returns, tax payments, and tax filing submissions
- Managing year-end tax reporting and corporate income tax reconciliation
- Leading and coordinating tax audits, tax objections, and tax appeals with local tax authorities
- Providing tax advisory support to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations
- Monitoring updates in Indonesian tax laws and assessing their impact on company operations
- Supervising and developing the tax team to ensure high performance and compliance standards
- Ensuring strong internal tax controls and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to deadlines
- Experience in Tax Planning and strategy formulation to optimize tax efficiency for the organization
- Proven experience in tax compliance, tax audits, and tax reporting review
- Strong expertise in handling tax disputes; possession of a tax court license is preferred
- In-depth knowledge and up-to-date understanding of Indonesian Tax Regulations, especially in the manufacturing sector
- Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation, preferably within manufacturing or a tax consulting firm (preferably with experience in one of the Big Four CPA firms)
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with good proficiency in English
- Willing to be placed in Sunter, Jakarta
