We are seeking a Finance Administrator with strong accounting and taxation knowledge to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will handle day-to-day finance operations, support tax reporting, and contribute to efficient financial workflows that meet the evolving needs of a fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, tax documents, and financial transactions
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (e.g., VAT, PPh) and liaise with tax consultants as needed
- Monitor compliance with local tax regulations and changes in taxation laws
- Handle general ledger updates and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial processing
- Maintain and organize digital filing systems for financial and tax records
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or tax administration (experience in fintech or startups is a plus)
- Solid understanding of local tax regulations and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Accurate, Jurnal, or similar)
- Strong MS Excel skills and attention to numerical detail
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
