What you will do:
Infrastructure & Server Management
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers (on-premise & cloud).
- Manage system performance, storage, and virtualization to ensure uptime.
- Perform backups, updates, and patching regularly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and network issues quickly.
Cloud Administration (AWS, AliCloud, etc.)
- Manage EC2/ECS instances and S3/OSS storage.
- Configure IAM roles, security groups, and firewalls.
- Monitor cloud performance and optimize costs.
- Ensure security compliance and system availability.
Network & Security
- Set up and maintain DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and routing.
- Manage firewalls and security devices for all environments.
- Apply system hardening and access control policies.
- Monitor and fix network connectivity issues.
Operations & Support
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for infrastructure issues.
- Monitor system health and handle alerts.
- Maintain documentation for configurations and incidents.
- Work closely with IT, Security, and DevOps teams.
- Join 24/7 shift rotations and on-call schedules as needed.
What you will need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3/OSS, IAM).
- Hands-on experience in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Familiarity with firewall and security configuration (e.g., Cloudflare, AWS-WAF AliCloud Security Group).
- Experience with system monitoring ( PRTG Network Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana)
- Nice to have experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).
- Basic scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and standby/on-call schedules.
- Good communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to system operations.
