You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce adherence to NDPE principles (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation) across the organization and its supply chain.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with NDPE criteria.
- Identify potential risks related to deforestation, peatland destruction, and exploitation, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with external partners, NGOs, regulatory bodies, and certification agencies to stay updated on NDPE best practices and regulations.
- Investigate and address any NDPE violations, implementing corrective actions with suppliers.
- Transparency & Disclosure: Ensure transparency in NDPE compliance by disclosing progress in annual sustainability reports and other public channels.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and suppliers to enhance understanding and implementation of NDPE standards.
- Promote best practices in sustainability, deforestation-free sourcing, and human rights protections, while driving ongoing improvements.
- Work closely with others related department to integrate NDPE principles into business operations.
- Oversee and maintain NDPE-related certifications (e.g., RSPO, FSC, ISCC, ISPO) and ensure successful third-party audits.
To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in Sustainability compliance handling.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, verify, and analyze data, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sustainability standards and traceability systems, particularly within the palm oil sector.
- Experience in conducting field verifications and effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel and work across different time zones as required.
