Some of your duties will include:
- Lead and coordinate responses to unplanned equipment issues and breakdowns in the Fixed Process Plant.
- Troubleshoot major equipment (Crusher, Grinding Mill, Overland Conveyor, Flotation, Pumps) to restore operation quickly.
- Ensure safe execution of all maintenance work, enforcing hazard controls, work permits, and LOTO procedures.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs for Fixed Plant equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure timely replacement of worn parts according to OEM standards.
- Apply strong technical expertise in crushers, mills, flotation, pumps, conveyors, and utility systems.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, engineering, and operations teams during repairs and shutdowns.
- Prepare performance reports on maintenance activities, downtime, and equipment reliability.
- Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements to optimize plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with K3 regulations, environmental standards, and company procedures.
- Provide technical guidance on equipment repairs, modifications, and upgrades.
- Assign tasks, direct teams during breakdown response, and stop work if safety risks are identified.
- Approve maintenance plans, inspections, and component replacement schedules.
What skills and experience do you need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 10+ years experience in Fixed Process Plant maintenance/operations.
- Strong hands‑on background with Crushers, Grinding Mills, Flotation, Pumps, and Conveyor systems.
- 5+ years in a supervisory/lead role.
- Skilled in breakdown response, failure analysis, safety control, and preventive maintenance planning.
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Competent in CMMS (SAP/Pronto/Maximo).
- Able to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and support shutdown activities.
- Strong commitment to K3 and environmental compliance.
