Gateway Search is proud to partner with one of the leading R&D and manufacturers of automation technology to bring on board a Supply Chain & Customer Service Team Lead based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Role Purpose

The Supply Chain & Customer Service Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order-to-fulfillment cycle. You will lead and synchronize the activities of the Customer Service, Order Processing, General Logistics, and Supply Chain Planning teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, optimized inventory levels, and seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management & Customer Experience

  • Oversee the accurate processing of orders, quotes, and credits.
  • Ensure the team services customers with speed, quality, and engaged concern, providing a memorable experience.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex system issues or customer complaints that impact relationships.

Supply Chain & Planning

  • Oversee materials planning and inventory management systems to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply chain disruptions.
  • Visualize and manage the entire internal supply chain processfrom sales and order processing to finance and logistics.

Logistics & Warehouse Oversight

  • Ensure efficient warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Oversee regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Monitor warehouse safety protocols and ensure the layout is organized for optimal efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in Customer Service, Order Processing, or Logistics.
  • Proven track record in a supervisory role within an industrial manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • High proficiency in ERP and CRM Salesforce systems are preferred
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict KPIs.
