Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire purchasing & procurement function to support business objectives.

Develop, implement, and optimize purchasing strategies (local & overseas).

Establish and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, including Mandarin-speaking vendors.

Drive cost efficiency initiatives while ensuring product quality and on-time delivery.

Oversee contract negotiations, vendor performance evaluations, and risk management.

Monitor market trends, currency fluctuations, and supply chain risks to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and international procurement standards.

Prepare executive-level reports, budget forecasts, and purchasing analysis for top management.

Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, logistics) to align procurement needs.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 35 years of experience in procurement/purchasing with at least 2 years in managerial or leadership role.

Proven track record in managing international suppliers and large-scale procurement projects.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficient in English and fluent in Mandarin (oral & written) is mandatory.

Deep knowledge of supply chain, procurement systems, and cost-saving methodologies.
