Core Purpose

Rigger Superintendent is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of all rigging and lifting operations within the yard. Reporting to the Head of Lifting & Yard Plan, the incumbent ensures that all lifting activities are planned, supervised, and executed with absolute precision, adhering to international safety standards and project timelines.

Job Scope

• Managed operations to ensure execution met approved drawings, procedures, and efficiency benchmarks.
• Optimized the allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet tight project deadlines.
• Led and disciplined a multi-disciplinary team of supervisors and field worker.
• Enforced HSE compliance, conducted toolbox talks, and managed high-risk permits and risk assessments.
• Review and verify method statements, lifting plans, risk assessments, and permit-to-work (PTW) documentation prior to execution.
• Monitor work quality and coordinate inspections for project compliance; prepare daily progress reports and implement corrective actions to stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Min. 10 years experience in the same role as Superintendent (Oil & Gas/Engineering preferred)
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans and site safety protocols.
• Ability to lead large teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Batam.
