Job Description

Some of your duties will include:

  • Report to Manager Maintenance and Services - IFMS, Supt. Planning & Scheduling is responsible to manages, Supervisor, Planners, Scheduler and sub-contractors in the day to day activities associated with planning facility maintenance including all Office Building, Housing, Guest House, Camp Room and Public Facilities.
  • To prepare planning of infrastructure maintenance and all necessary resources required to accomplish for Infrastructure maintenance activities.
  • Analyst the man hours use versus the man hours availability to ensure all the maintenance job are effective and efficient.
  • Develop Strategic Business Plans for Life of Mine Activities and provide consistent and regular updates to the plan in conjunction with and alignment to the operations changing needs
  • Develop departmental plans that are pro-active in planning to ensure that the day to day operational needs are met while counterbalancing the strict operational and maintenance requirements in line with Indonesian or better standards.
  • Manage the equipment register in relation to registering new equipment into the system, and equipment being transferred from one section/department/division to another.
  • Manage the component register in relation to components being service, so that the life cycle of the individual component can be traced and costs accumulated for budgeting purposes.
  • Manage equipment service schedules are organized to minimize disruption to the Infrastructure, by ensuring each infrastructure building is involved in the equipment service allocation process.
  • Responsible for reporting weekly/monthly yearly equipment preventative maintenance progress
  • Manage work order, in conjunction with the cost of equipment service so that the maintenance supervisor is able to track actual versus budget costs and equipment performance.
  • Prepares detailed critical path plans and job cards, including equipment and materials lists for major jobs.
  • Prepares weekly summary and exception reports; prepares long-term plans and schedules for review.
  • Assists with cost containment.
  • Assists in planning yearly equipment budgets and cost containment.
  • Manage and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish maintenance activities.
  • Manage and issue daily work schedules and monitor the result.
  • Manage detailed critical path plans and job cards, including equipment and materials lists for major jobs such as planned Special Projects.
  • Maintain that equipment and material are available when required.
  • Issues and follows up on preventative maintenance inspections and procedures.
  • Manage that necessary work history and documentation are properly organized and input into the computer history files.
  • Coordinates regularly scheduled meetings with Maintenance and Operations representatives.
  • Prepares weekly summary and exception reports; prepares long-term plans and schedules for review and approval.
  • Maintain purchase requisitions and warehouse issue tickets.

What skills and experience do you need

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • Have 15 years of proven experience in working for planning and scheduling, managing large-scale mine infrastructure maintenance experience; Must have had 7+ years in managerial roles related to Infrastructure projects on remote mine sites.
  • Proven record of delivering results in a challenging work environment while managing planning, budgeting, manpower, processes, projects, cross-functional coordination and customer relationships.
  • Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to organizational, time management and customer service skills to excel in a dynamic operations; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, SAP/MIMS/CMMS.
  • Willing to be based at site with regular working days; Possibility to relocate family.
