As a Strategy & Operations Manager in Seven Retail, you won't just sit behind strategy decks, you will play a key role in driving ideas into execution. You will be responsible for shaping high-level strategic initiatives while also owning the end-to-end implementation and performance monitoring of critical projects.
Your scope will span across operational excellence, process improvement, cost efficiency & management, commercial operations, and customer experience (CX), giving you a holistic view of how the business runs and scales.
Job Description:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and refine the company's strategic roadmap, aligning it with overall business goals and objectives
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal data to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to execute strategic projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and deliver measurable outcomes.
2. Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement
- Evaluate current business operations to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve productivity, cost management, and quality
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess operational performance, and use data-driven insights to optimize processes
- Collaborate with teams across departments to streamline workflows and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
3. Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key advisor to senior executives, providing data-backed insights and recommendations on business decisions
- Lead, mentor, and influence cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and ensure successful project execution
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting clear updates, outcomes, and proposals for improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in program management, strategy consulting and field operations
- Proficiency in managing daily operations, coordinating between departments, and ensuring efficient resource allocations
- Strong analytical skills to assess data, evaluate program performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
