About The Role

As a Store Operational Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the store runs safely, efficiently, and sustainably, every day. You lead operational excellence, support teammates, and ensure the store is ready to serve customers across all channels.

This role is key in building a strong operational foundation and preparing future leaders within the store.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure people safety and asset security

  • Measure & mitigate the internal and external risks of my site and complete the associated action plan
  • Design and implement an effective evacuation process
  • Act for a safe and secure environment, both during my store duty and on a daily basis
  • Ensure safety training (according to country standards)
  • Ensure user's safety & reliability in the quality process
  • Support and drive projects of change), by identifying and mitigating their impacts on operations and safety

Animate operational excellence in store for more customer satisfaction

  • Guarantee the application of standardized Decathlon in-store processes to increase the conversion rate to improve customers and teammates experiences
  • Drive and animate the processes efficiency (layout movements, truck to peg, etc)
  • Set functional management routines to foster an efficiency mindset
  • Manage operating cost of the store increase the efficiency of investments

Guarantee store stock availability to maximize omnichannel customer satisfaction

  • Train teammates on stock procedures and automatic replenishment system
  • Animate the stock control to guarantee stock accuracy
  • Create and manage an anti-shrinkage action plan at store level
  • Ensure good application of flow procedures

Manage the environmental impact of my store

  • Ensure the implementation of the sustainable development action plans
  • Manage providers eco impact
  • Allow the eco mobility

Ensure store maintenance

  • Ensure the maintenance (preventive / corrective) and verifications according to country's standards and contracts
  • Ensure safety is enforced during maintenance operations
  • Provide monitoring & traceability

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (verbal and written);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail store leadership role;
  • Experience in retail operations, store management, or operational leadership;
  • Strong organizational and operational mindset;
  • Ability to manage priorities and solve problems on the field;
  • Job location is in West Surabaya
