We are seeking a battle-tested Senior Project Manager with exclusive software vendor-side experience to lead complex, multi-client software delivery operations. This role is specifically designed for professionals who have spent most of their entire career delivering software products to external clients, not only internal IT projects. You will manage simultaneous delivery streams to multiple banking, fintech, and enterprise clients, navigating the unique pressures of vendor accountability, contractual SLAs, and parallel client demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Client Delivery: Own end-to-end accountability for 3-5 simultaneous software implementations from contract signature to hyper-care.
- SDLC Excellence: Lead cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, DevOps) using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary lead for C-level client stakeholders, managing scope, budget constraints, and steering committees.
- Commercial Acumen: Protect project margins by monitoring resource utilization, changing orders, and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure delivery aligns with compliance banking-grade standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, PJP) and maintains scalable documentation.
Requirements
Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- 7-10 years of project management experience exclusively within software product companies, system integrators, or technology vendors
- Proven track record managing 3+ concurrent client implementations with competing deadlines and resource constraints
- Deep expertise in SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) within commercial delivery contexts
- Experience delivering financial services, banking, payments, or fintech software strongly preferred
- Technical & Delivery Competencies
- Expert-level understanding of software architecture, API integrations, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and DevOps practices
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management and collaboration tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar project budgets and cross-functional teams of 10+ resources
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification preferred
