We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to manage daily financial operations, including transaction processing, payment management, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial analysis to aid business decision-making. The position will also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders while contributing to process improvements and ad-hoc finance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including payment processing, forecasting, cash flow reporting, financial reporting, and financial data analysis.
- Process daily transactions in accordance with established guidelines to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure and process accurate and timely payment.
- Monitor expenses, analyze costs, pricing, and variable contributions.
- Perform month-end financial closing activities.
- Liaise with banks and manage corporate bank accounts.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Review and evaluate financial processes and policies, identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent the finance function in cross-functional teams and collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.
- Support the direct Supervisor/Head of Division/Team/Committee in ad-hoc tasks and project-based assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in finance field.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in handling overseas companies and familiarity with SaaS businesses is an advantage.
- Familiarity with accounting software and internet banking platforms.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skill.
