About the Job

As a Sr Finance & Accounting Executive, you are responsible to manage and oversee the end-to-end finance and accounting functions of the organization. The role will be responsible for handling Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and supporting audits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle accounting process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing activities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Oversee cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Support and maintain fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and documentation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial policies
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Lead and support audits (internal and external), ensuring timely responses and accurate data submissions
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness, including automation and system enhancements
  • Maintain compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures (excluding tax-related compliance)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and perform complex reconciliations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
