Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Energy Transition Analyst to support the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency, with a strong focus on PV + BESS, energy efficiency, and the decarbonization initiatives. This role combines technical insight, analytics, market research, and investment feasibility, and works closely with the Internal & External Stakeholders on strategic growth initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities in the energy efficiency and decarbonization industry.
- Conduct techno-economic feasibility studies for decarbonization projects particularly Grid-Scale PV + BESS, heat recovery, and cooling system optimization.
- Analyze energy usage, system performance, and optimization potential to support project development.
- Support project pipeline development, from early concept through investment readiness.
- Work with internal teams, partners, and vendors to assess technologies and solutions.
- Assist the CEO with market research, industry analysis, and strategic initiatives related to energy transition.
- Collaborate with finance teams to support investment analysis (CAPEX, OPEX, ROI, IRR, payback).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field; Master's in Renewable Energy / Energy Systems is preferable.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, power systems, refrigeration cycles, fluid dynamics, and energy conversion.
- Solid technical sense in PV + BESS, heat recovery systems and cooling optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in energy transition and decarbonization.
- Exposure to project finance, investment banking, or infrastructure investment is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and contributing to strategic decision-making.
