Job Description
▪ Understand how the Beca ERP system manages Accounts Payable processes and compliance and and apply best practices in Accounts Payable processes to optimise the ERP system's capabilities. ▪ Contribute to the development of the team by sharing knowledge and information and supporting the training and upskilling of other team members. ▪ Maintain high standards of professionalism and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement based on experience and knowledge of the business. ▪ Demonstrate a growth mindset by seeking specific and constructive feedback to support personal development. ▪ Maintain timely communication with team members and business leaders regarding any unusual items or possible payment delays.
▪ Manage requests for non-trade and cash advance payments in a timely manner, using the Payments email inbox to ensure good process control.
▪ Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records in accordance with Beca Digital document retention policy and process. ▪ Apply agreed internal controls and compliance with relevant policies and processes.
▪ Prioritise and manage payment schedules based on due dates, business needs, and cash flow. ▪ Schedule payments in both local and foreign currencies for vendors using digital tools, including purchase of foreign currency and management of deals as required.
▪ Execute non-trade and manual payments, managing stakeholders and out of cycle timelines as required (including tax, trust, and shareholder payments).
▪ Follow bank approval rosters for timely payment authorisations with minimal disruption.
