Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Specialist. The position is located in Padang. The Special Education Specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, observe and assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities. Additionally, the role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the holistic development of children with special needs.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Strong skills in Communication and the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, including families and educators
• Expertise in Education and Special Education methods and practices
• Experience and passion for Working With Children with diverse learning needs
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective learning strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience working in a special education setting is a plus
• Certification or training in special education or behavior management is preferred
