We are looking for an energetic, dedicated Technical Sales professionals to work as a bridge between the Reseller/VARs/Solution partners and end-users. Security Solution Consultants would be responsible to utilize end-users and reseller's input and sales information to ensure and support the integration of security solutions and services and addressing reseller's customer business requirements / challenges.
Directs and coordinates Pre-Sales, Consulting & Technical Support services activities and provide expertise to customers together with the VARs by performing technical discussions, solution demonstrations, deployment and installation, mentoring, implementation, maintenance etc. to position and adoption of wide range of Vendor applications and portfolio.
Organize and conduct enablement activities such as solution integration and presentations, trainings/mentoring, workshops, webinars, seminars covering Vendor / Business Unit solutions and products for resellers and their customers.
Analyze customer enquiries and map/develop solutions.
Conduct technical discussion and ability to understand customer workflow, pain points and accordingly arrange/recommend solution and services.
Ability to identify the measured outcome from any delivered activity, increase productivity, user learning curve etc.
Organize and deliver training courses and mentoring sessions for relevant solution sets and product areas.
Deliver product presentations to VARs, End customers (in-house, fairs etc) and tradeshows, webinars etc.
Deliver online training courses (internet) for sales partners and their customers.
Provide project support for customer projects (billable).
Support Business Unit staff with Vendor product related topics.
Create, document and publish hard and software benchmarks in the Vendor environment.
Write product-specific articles for in-house and external professional media (e.g. Business Unit Portal).
Active participation in marketing initiatives conducted by Business Units for technical, application purposes.
Be an Industry/subject matter expert on allocated product group.
Work with customers and partner to find out the trend of any on going issue and accordingly work with the Vendor to mitigate the issue.
Ability to understand customer issue and do the troubleshooting.
Because Solution Consultants operate at the intersection of the Vendor, Value Added Resellers and end-user customers, they must possess strong communication abilities, analytical thinking and the capacity to facilitate solution integration between security line-cards. Solution Consultants are uniquely talented in both customer success and services and detail-oriented, proficient in analytical tasks and in consequence should be an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing.
Multiple years (5+ years preferred) of IT distributors, System integrators, vendor and channel business experience or otherwise 5+ years in channel driven security solutions.
Knowledge and/or experience of security field, Experience with one or more Vendor products (for example: IBM security, HCL software, BitDefender, BitSight, BigFix and Appscan, etc.)
Knowledgeable on principles, practices and techniques of project management
Proven strong negotiation skills and persuasion to align the vendor resellers and end-users towards the vendor's strategy and collaborative solutions.
Proven persistence and resilience in a technical high growth software industry.
In depth understanding and knowledge of current IT security landscape and technology ( EDR, MDR, XDR, Networks security, firewall, application security, WAF, security patches, patch management, Security standards, Windows servers OS, linux, internet, cloud, etc.).
Team player with a strong customer orientation.
Good in English.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Has Minimum Bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification for the relevant industry and product area.
