Are you an experienced and driven Technical Lead with a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences and leading high-performing teams We&aposre seeking a hands-on leader to guide our front-end development efforts while leveraging a strong understanding of backend systems.
What You&aposll Do:
- Front-End Leadership: Drive the design and development of our mobile applications using React Native and Expo, and our web applications with Next.js. You&aposll set the technical direction and ensure best practices.
- Architectural Guidance: Apply your deep understanding of software architecture fundamentals to both front-end and backend systems, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and robust solutions.
- Backend Proficiency: While primarily focused on the front end, you&aposll utilise your strong knowledge in backend development (Go) to collaborate effectively with backend teams, define APIs, and troubleshoot complex system interactions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and ownership. You will instil and enforce code development best practices.
- Data-Driven Insights: Possess a meticulous approach to data analysis and checking on logs to ensure system health, performance, and to drive informed decisions.
- AI-Powered Development: Champion the strategic adoption and effective utilisation of AI tools like Cursor to enhance team productivity and streamline development workflows.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Work extensively with Google Cloud to ensure optimal deployment, performance, and scalability of our applications.
What We&aposre Looking For:
- At least 5 years of software development experience and a minimum of 3 years of team lead experience.
- Expertise in React Native and Expo for mobile application development.
- Extensive experience with Next.js for web application development.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Go for backend development, with the ability to contribute to architectural discussions and system design across the stack.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles and experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable systems.
- A keen eye for detail in data analysis and log monitoring to identify trends and issues.
- A champion of code development best practices and a strong advocate for high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience in leveraging and promoting the use of AI tools (e.g., Cursor) to enhance development processes and team efficiency. Understanding the fundamentals of software development is a must.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
