We are looking for a creative, organized, and anime-obsessed
Social Media Manager for an exciting anime streaming service brand.
In this role, you will be the guardian of our social presence, managing the day-to-day content flow for dedicated SEA accounts. You will act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and our creative agency partners, ensuring that every post is on-brand, on-time, and generates maximum hype among fans.
Agency Collaboration & Creative Development
- Agency Liaison: Work closely alongside our partner creative agency to craft high-impact social assets. You will be the primary point of contact for briefing the agency and reviewing their output.
- Asset Coordination: Proactively secure necessary assets (key art, trailers, screenshots) from internal databases and licensors to support the creative team's production process.
- Review & Approval: Manage the approval workflow. You will review agency creative concepts, ensure they align with brand guidelines, seek internal approvals from cross-functional teams (Brand, Legal, Licensing), and give the final green light for publishing.
- Calendar Management: distinct content calendars for both regions, ensuring a healthy mix of promotional content, engagement posts, and reactive trend-based content.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field within the entertainment, gaming, or media industry.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in English is a strict requirement, as you will be managing content for both markets.
- Anime Knowledge: A genuine passion for and deep knowledge of anime culture, trends, and memes. You need to speak the language of the fans.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple approval workflows and coordinate with external agencies efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent ability to give clear, constructive feedback to creative teams.
